Let’s talk about the fact that I’m the proud new owner of a bookstore! I know, I know. I’m crazy! Bookstores are shutting down everywhere and here I am opening one.
But it’s not just any bookstore. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s the only one of its kind. Every single book on our shelves is signed by the author and all of the proceeds are donated to charity. And all the employees work on a volunteer basis, including myself. To date, The Bookworm Box has raised over $100,000 for charities since March.
I’m behind on listing the charities and how much money they each received because I’m the only one who keeps up with the charity aspect of it and I’ve been a little busy. I’m on deadline for two books, I’m about to move into our new house and Saturday was the grand opening of The Bookworm Box…

-Favorite Scene & What I Love Most About Luke-
I really enjoyed writing this book, and there were several scenes that stuck with me long after I wrote them, but there’s one in particular that stands out for me. The moment when Sienna finds out about something Luke has been holding inside and when she finds him alone in his house, was an emotional scene to write.
